It is without a doubt the most comfortable holster I've worn and I have tried a lot of them.
I'm going to get my wife to try it (if I can get the belt smaller) to see if she likes it. She usually carries something smaller, Like a Kel-Tec .40 or a Kel-Tec P32.

Nobody said anything, and I didn't catch anyone even glancing at it. I feel a lot more comfortable now...
Wearing the holster a bit lower and really stretching the elastic tight did hold the gun in place pretty well. However, there is only a little over an inch of velcro in use in the most comfortable and stable wearing position.
It didn't cause trouble over the weekend, but I still think I'd benefit from an inch or so less elastic on each side, particularly once the elastic becomes stretched a bit from regular use. I'd like to exchange my holster for one with this configuration. Please tell me what your procedure is for doing so.

Webmaster's note: E. was concerned about the slight bulge made by the grip of his P220, and in the seven years I've been carrying my full size M1911A-1 in SmartCarry® no one has ever picked up on that bulge. Now E. is beginning to realize that he is the only one who will ever notice it, because he has a view no one else does - above, looking straight down! To get the elastic length adjusted, all E. has to do (and we just informed him) is to measure his hips around the widest point (all he supplied was his waist measurement) and return his SmartCarry® for a no cost, fast turn-around adjustment of the elastic or the strapping length. Another reason why it's so important to take a few extra moments to measure your hip circumference around the widest point when placing your order!This is not a duplicate order- I just got my holster and showed it to my father, and he wants one for his small 380. I have to tell you, this is the best holster I have ever seen. My father was skeptical when I first told him about it, but when he saw that I could comfortably carry my Glock 27 at work wearing a shirt and tie without anybody knowing, he was hooked. I never could carry my gun during the day, because of my clothing.

About 3 years ago I ordered one of your thunderbelt holsters. The holster is now showing a bit of wear, which is expected, considering I wear it 15 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I am really impressed by the quality of your workmanship, as this holster has had a really tough life. The only thing that went wrong with it was the velcro section coming loose from the backing it was sewn onto. (it was quickly fixed with a sewing machine)

I bought a Marine Tuf Cloth from your company about 2 years ago, and now need to refresh it a bit. Unfortunately, no-one here seems to know what mineral spirits are.
I can get Turpentine, but the package says NOT turpentine. Could you give me another name for the mineral spirits (brand name, or chemical composition).

Webmaster note: "Mineral spirits" is plain old garden variety paint thinner, available in any supermarket for about $2.00 a quart. Since C. purchased his TUF-CLOTH in 1999, I suspect it may be at the end of its useful life span. I get about two years use out of one and I use it nightly when I take my 1911 out of my SmartCarry® and put it up for the night. We sent C. a new Marine Tuf-Cloth!I absolutely LOVE my new SmartCarry. Peace of mind in more ways than one.

I received my holster about one week ago and decided to test it thoroughly before contacting you. I'll admit I was somewhat skeptical when browsing your web site. How could any holster be all you claimed it to be? Well..... I have never bought any product I have been as satisified with as my new smart carry holster. My Walther PPK/S fits in it perfectly, comfortably and is completely undetectable. I wore this rig a week, every day, even forgot I was wearing it. Even when wearing a leather carpenters apron, climbing, kneeling, etc.( I'm a builder ) the holster remained comfortable. I probably won't wear the holster while working but I thought that was a heck of a test.

The holster came yesterday, Monday, after we spoke late Thursday. Great service. I really am impressed by the fit and feel. It is very comfortable, and after about 15 minutes, I forget that it is even there. Other than a slight, and I mean slight, bump at the edge of the grip, my Glock 27 is undetectable. I doubt anyone else will even notice it, but I plan to try it out tonight at home. I am going to keep it on all night and see if anyone realizes that I am carrying.
