<snip>Message.............: For Bright Sight: Ghost Glow Green. Please send TWO holsters - one small and one medium - for the pistols above. I already have a large for my full-size 1911 and love it! I've tried it with safety pins for the two guns listed here, which works fine, but I think I'll like them even better in the most correct size for each gun. And Charlie - it was a pleasure to meet you and 'hanger talk' about J-3's and Swifts at the Manatee gun show a couple of weeks ago!

Webmaster's note: The above was in the message section of an order we recently received from P.S. of Sarasota, FL, a SmartCarry® customer.Charlie- You might get a kick out of this story. I purchased a Smart Carry a number of months ago and am still 100% happy with it. But like a lot of people I just get that urge sometimes to try something new. So when I found a used Pager Pal holster on Ebay for a mere $10 I couldn't resist. After all they go for $60 or more at the gun shows. Well you know what? I found out that even $10 is too much if you don't use it, and after trying it out a couple of times the holster is sitting on my dresser unused. Maybe I can give it to someone as a gift! I realize now that I already had the best product going for concealed carry and just didn't have enough sense to know it.
Thanks again for a great product.

Un-Hyphenated AmericanI received your products the other day and to say the least I'm very impressed! I really like the SmartCarry. I own a security business and have a CCW permit but I took to carrying my Freedom Arms .22 when it's impractical to wear something to cover and IWB holster and I don't like fanny packs. Now I can carry my ParaOrdnance C645! Way cool! Thanks again for a great solution.
M. G. - Highland, CAMessage.............: Charlie, please send me another Smartcarry Holster. I have worn my old unit out. Even over a year later, I still carry in it every day. Top quality - excellent concealment. Still hold tight to my review of your product.

Webmaster's note: This was in the message field on a recent order. The customer, Mr. N. A. of Longmont, CO had written a review of SmartCarry® concealed carry holsters and decided he needed a new SmartCarry® to replace his original holster!Charlie,
I just wanted to drop a note about the Smartcarry holster that I bought from you almost two years ago. I bought it on March 6, 2002 (invoice #5115). Being in law enforcement, I use it almost daily, while off duty, to carry either my S&W CS 38 revolver or my S&W CS 9mm with extra mags. I love it! I even changed the transmission on my car while wearing the smartcarry and my firearm. How's that for comfort?
There is one problem that I have. After wearing it constantly for about two years the material, backing and velcro on the waist strap is coming apart. I'd hate to part with it for one second but can I send it back to be repaired? In the meantime, I guess I'll just use my uncomfortable belt holster. I have to tell you again, I love the Smartcarry!
Thank You,
D. H. - Grove City, OH
Webmaster's note: The problem D. H. mentions above was the cotton backing on the belt backing coming loose at the top and bottom near one end of the belt backing. As this is glued on by the manufacture of the product, we couldn't reglue it, so a line of stitches solved the problem. It was returned to D. H. the day after we received it, at no charge.

You guys are awsome. I love my Smart Carry and this level of customer service is amazing. I hope I wear it out some day so I can buy another one. Thank you very much. You have made my day. I will recommend you guys to anyone looking for a concealment holster.
Thanks,
A. Y. - Kalispell, MTWebmaster's note: A. reported a problem with the elastic on his recently purchased SmartCarry® and wanted to know what action he should take. We told him none, we'd send a warranty replacement SmartCarry® with a SASE enclosed in the package so he could return the original hoster to us. That'a what he's referering to above.
Charlie,
The holster came in the mail yesterday, and I couldn't wait to try it today. At first I thought the small holster was going to be too small for my S&W Model 60 because of the 3" barrel; I should have never doubted you. It fits nice and secure with the top of the holster right even with the top of the cylinder. I put the holster on following your directions. It felt great and was completely undetectable.
When I spoke with you on the phone while placing my order I mentioned that I had tried one of those "clip grip" style carry devices. It seemed like the gun was going to slip off my belt and fall down my pant leg. Frankly, I was scared to carry with that rig, especially since the barrel pointed right at my privates. No such worries with the SmartCarry. Standing up or sitting down the barrel points straight down at the ground.
I can't say enough good about your product.
Best Regards,
W. V. - Austin, TXHello,
I just wanted you to know that priority mail shipping works pretty darn well. I ordered a smart carry on Friday (11/14) and recieved it yesterday (11/18). I've been wearing it since, and am very impressed so far. Thanks for your outstanding customer service.
Thank you,
E. G. - Phoenix, AZCharlie:
I now know what the confusion is about when you asked me if the "other" holster was ok. I bought 2 small Smartcarry holsters for my Kel-Tec P11, AND another one 6 months or so ago for my Glock M27. When you asked me if the "other" holster was ok, I thought you were referring to the one for the Glock. It is fine. The other 2 (small ones) were both short. Sorry for the confusion!
I DO have the following to say about SMARTCARRY Holsters: (Webmaster's note: R. C. requires our standard length strapping and one of the young ladies who trims our holsters after they're constructed failed to put the "SSTP" (shorter strapping length) tags on several holsters with SSTP strapping, and two of these got sent to R. C. by mistake. The correct strapping lengths have already been sent as warranty replacements.)
We all joke about being "holster poor", meaning we all have many holsters that didn't work out for some reason or other. I am smaller than most of the people I know (short-waisted) and I don't like to have a cover-up for a belt/IWB holster. I bought my first Smartcarry holster used at a gun show, to carry my Glock 22 duty weapon. I was IMMEDIATELY impressed by it (although the M22 was too big to conceal). I then bought one for my Glock M27 and loved it so much that I bought 2 for my back-ups (easier for short people to carry). This I have to say about Smartcarry: Had I known about the product before I bought the other holsters, I would never have bought the others. Tell people you know that Smartcarry is the ONLY way to carry concealed! I am so happy with Smartcarry, that I tell everyone I know about it!
Thanks Charlie!
R. C. - Denver, COReceived it today, which was fast! Thanks, like it - need to practice just like your literature says though, that became quickly obvious - especially while in the car with a seat belt on. Have a touch of carpal tunnel in my right wrist which causes a bit of pain with the slight wrist twist I have to use to draw it. But it's super, hope you and your wife make several million bucks off this wonderful idea you had!

place your order!Dear Charles,
The first one that I ordered was a little tight. So, my wife confiscated it, and she loves it and won't give it back! So I have to order a new one for me, but I want the new one three inches longer. Thank you for catching that change.

Message.............: Hello, Please send a mediuim holster for the G26. It seems to be more comfortable in the medium size, I wonder if you know that. My wife uses mine for her S&W 3953!! This will be my third order and we are very pleased with your product.

Webmasters note: The above was in the message section of a recent order, and if you order a SmartCarry® for a mini or sub-mini Glock, our default size is the medium. There are three Glocks, the 26, 27 & 33 w/ 3.46" bbls, and these will carry safely in our small holster size, but as we've learned over the years from many Glock customers, like the couple above, they do carry better in the mediums, due to the thickness of the firearm more so than the bbl length.
Charlie,
In the mail, and pretty quick. Of course the Monday holiday slowed things down just a bit. Wore it the rest of the evening and went out to a public place. My Star Firestar fits very comfortably, with very little print through, even from my point of view. The only thing about it is bending over/sitting down. Maybe I need to pull it up just a bit. It will certainly help when I lose a little weight, which I need to do. But overall, I like the holster. It fits snugly and will be easy to forget that I'm even wearing it. It's real comfortable.
Thanks for a good product,

place your order!Hello Charlie,
I just wanted to tell you I received my Smart Carry holster yesterday. I had it on all afternoon and evening around the house just to get used to it. I just had to tell you it is very comfortable to wear. I almost forgot I had it on! When my wife got home from work I asked her if she noticed anything, needless to say she was surprised when I showed her. Thank you your holster is fantastic! I have already told a friend about it, I won't be surprised if you have more sales coming.
Thank you again.
D. D. - Sterling, MACharley my friend,
Thought you folks would be happy to see this? By the way, got my holster in the mail recently, a minor work of art, could not be happier with it!
Best regards,
J. F. - Caldwell, NJ
Webmaster's note: J. F. sent some very informative comments on SmartCarry from Packing.org, but it was too long to post here. We thank J. F. for his thoughtfullness is sending them!Importance: Normal
I have and use daily one of your holsters for my Ruger SP101 and it works perfectly. Shorts, slacks or jeans. Comfortable, easy to get to and hidden very well. 100% satisfied and thank you.
I am also a Glock fan and would like to have the option to carry my model 36 in the same manner but I am a little concerned about the safe action trigger combined with the relatively loose pocket of the smart carry holster. Many Glock owners advocate a stiff shell type of holster with this particular type of trigger assembly or a t-block trigger guard of which I am not a big fan. Not the most comfortable or the easiest way to conceal but guaranteed to protect that trigger. Having read some of the many reader comments on your sight I have learned that many do carry their Glock's in this manner but I can in vision possible scenarios of an accidental discharge. Would I be better advised to look at other handgun options with stiffer double action type triggers/external safety's (Sig's 229 or 239 come to mind) or do you consider the properly sized smart carry for the Glock to be 100% safe providing that the wearer does his/her part and keeps the finger off the trigger?
As a side note/comment I used the small size for my Colt Mustang which rode well and concealed flawlessly but due to no fault of the holster did disengage the slide lock safety consistently during normal daily movement. Unfortunately, that nice little 1911 derivative doesn't come with a grip safety and could not be carried safely with one in the chamber to my comfort level at least. Note, I got rid of the Mustang not the holster.
Your feed back would be much appreciated and thank you again for what I consider to be a very good (if not the best) total concealment holster product available.
J. H. - Portland, OR
Webmaster note: We advised J. H. that he'd have to use his judgement as to what condition of carry he felt comfortable with, but we have many customers who carry Glocks w/ one in the chamber. Since the holster fabric is very tight around the firearm when you're carrying the handgun, the trigger is very well protected from any object reaching it, including your fingers.Charles,
I just wanted to write you a quick note and say thanks for a great product and great customer service. I really like the SmartCarry and I have only had it for about 24 hours. I own every holster in the book and this will be a very nice addition. I have a full size Glock 21 (.45) with a surefire mount and it fits just great and I can’t believe I can conceal it so easily. I have solved much of my carry problems by switching to Carhartt jeans a few years ago. I can comfortably carry tactical lights, folding knife, extra mags and cell phone. I can wear a 1911 in your rig as long as my pants are very loose in the crotch. I wanted to share something I learned today. I was thinking about how well overalls would work with a carry system like this. I went out and purchased a pair of Carhartt work overalls larger than normal (I wear 36 so I purchased 40’s). They are perfect and I can draw one handed from any position. They are in style these days anyway so I don’t look like a construction worker around town. Great stuff I maybe ordering a few more in case I wear this one out! Again, I really appreciate your great customer service.
Cheers,
